What you'll need:
1. Pencil (I suggest mechanical 0.7 or less)
2. Paper
3. eraser if needed
once you have those items you are all set to go! What I think what really helps is just drawing circles from different angles because cylinders are 3-D circles right?
1. Start off by drawing a circle as if it was from a top angle it helps as a beginner if you use a soup can a your guid.

2. Start by slowly drawing your lines which will be the sides of your cylinder try to keep the lines as straight as possible but if you can't don't worry because that is my next tutorial so don't forget to come back to the arts.

3. Anyways once your finished draw the very last circle the base of your cylinder. How I like to do this is to draw the arc of the circle like this:

Then I'll finish the rest of the arc which will be the inside
Lastly shade it side ways giving it a more 3-D look the gently rub it. Your result should look like this:

And theres your beautiful cylinder! Thank you I hope this tutorial helped you and hopefully you got your cube and your other drawings! Comment below if you have any questions I'll try to get back to you and don't forget to come back to http://ljathearts.blogspot.com/ for my other tutorial on how to draw straight lines without actually using a ruler! Bye!
