Do My History Homework With Me! Exploring Egyptian Art and Facts!

Ok, you may be thinking Egyptians created easy designed drawing that were simple to draw. But once you try out your self you realize how hard it is and how complicated Egyptians were really when it comes to art. So today I was assigned for homework to draw a god/goddess of Egypt and to write down some info about it such as their role or responsibilities or just some cool facts about it using http://www.ancientegypt.co.uk/gods/explore/main.html. I decided to do isis. So lets get started. Ok, first were going to draw a picture of what she looks like:
So then I started with the skirt and the feet and worked my way up to the challenging part which was the face. Ok the face is so much harder then you think it took me about ten tries and it's still not quite right. Also the way it flows onto the hands is also challenging to draw. Next I added color to make it look like the goddess.I learned her role is she uses powerful magic to help others in need. Since pharaohs were called the living Horus then that makes Iris important. Another thing is she was the wife of Osiris and the mother of Horus. Now here's my drawing and hope you enjoyed this quick informative post. Happy Valentines and have a great Presidents day! Peace:
sorry the marker was hard to get into tight spaces so it may look a little wonky in some areas.
